May-02-2024
The eagerly awaited balance patch for Tekken 8 will be released by Bandai Namco. Set to go live on May 7th at 7 PM PDT, the update, labeled as Ver.1.04.00, aims to refine the gameplay by providing numerous character adjustments. Significant enhancements are coming to fighters such as Asuka, Bryan, Jack-8, Panda, Zafina, and Kuma, boosting their compatibility with the game's innovative Heat mechanics and emphasizing their unique playstyles.
Conversely, prominent characters like Jun Kazama, Azucena, Devil Jin, Dragunov, Feng, and Xiaoyu will undergo modifications due to some of their overpowering tactics. Additionally, players can expect improvements for Alisa and Yoshimitsu, targeting better damage consistency and resolving hitbox issues.
Available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC, Tekken 8 continues to evolve, with these modifications marking just the beginning of enhancements planned for Season 1. The upcoming months will also introduce a new stage and a Photo Mode in the summer, followed by a freshly added Main Story chapter in the autumn, all available at no additional cost. The roster will also expand to include Lidia from Tekken 7 as the second DLC character.
