Helldivers 2 adds explosive crossbow, grenade pistol and other ways to blow up friends by "accident" next week

Next week, Helldivers 2 enhances its warfare arsenal through the addition of the Democratic Detonation warbond, embracing armaments that could inadvertently lead to the demise of your squad due to friendly fire - a scenario I might personally encounter.
This newly introduced warbond brings to the battlefield three innovative weapons: the BR-14 Adjudicator Rifle, known for its armor-piercing capabilities; the R-36 Eruptor Rifle, a bolt-action firearm that disperses shrapnel upon impact; and the standout CB-9 Exploding Crossbow, which, true to its name, launches bolts that detonate. Arrowhead, the developers have already highlighted that these bolts will arc due to gravity, so aiming higher is crucial.
The arsenal expansion doesn't stop with primary weapons. It also features two new sidearms that could be just as hazardous to team members. The G-123 Thermite Grenade offers a sticky, incendiary option for area denial, while the GP-31 Grenade Pistol allows for explosive shots with the crucial reminder to reload after each use.
Additionally, a booster was introduced to reduce waiting times for the extraction shuttle, offering a vital edge at the end of missions.
